best mule deer video

I'll tell ya good DVD I just got for Christmas and its not a mule deer DVD. Its name is North American Whitetail Growing Bigger Bucks. I don't know if Monster Muleys has it? Its worth looking at.

#1. NEVER ENOUGH SERIES.....

#2. TINES UP

THERE ARE GOOD ONES FROM MOSSBACK, PRIMOS, ROAD TRIPS WITH MICHEAL WADDELL,

ALOT OF THE COMMERCIAL VIDS HAVE HUNTS OTHER THAN MULE DEER ON THEM THOUGH..... HOPE THIS HELPS

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all."

By far the best "mule deer" video (archery) I've ever seen is an oldie I guess in today's standard.....but still awesome. It was made by Wilderness Sound Productions (Larry D. Jones) titled "How to Hunt Mule Deer...In Open Country".

It's based on a high country archery hunt in Nevada (above timberline) with three ethical old school bowhunters (Larry Jones, Dave Doran, and Neil Summers). It's still available at a great price.

I agree with BOHNTR. I saw that one as a kid and finally found it again last summer.

"Does one of the guys in that old video have an "Abe Lincoln" style of beard?"

No it doesn't.

How about live deer footage?
I really like seeing them on the hoof, like on winter range, rather than just grip & grin shots.

It all depends on who the guy answering the question is buddies with.

They all have positive and negative aspects to them.

Just hope the one you pick doesn't have a soundtrack to a porn movie for the background noise.

I remember 'Too Many Bucks".
Bowhunting Muleys in Nevada with hundreds of velvet antlered bucks pouriong out of every drainage.
It was entertaining.

The Muley Crazy series is by without a doubt THE best mule deer videos ever made/thread

Width isnt everything, its the ONLY thing.

One of the greatest videos I've ever seen was a really old one by Ben Pearson. He only kills one Mulie on the video, but he does a lot of amazing shooting with his bow. He shoots pheasants, ducks, a Griz on the move at over 50 yards a pig from off the top of a cliff. This is all with a Recurve. It's relly fun. If any of you know where to get it post it up.

I can't believe no one has said Magnum Mulies. Any one of the 3 videos are awesome. The winter range footage, goliath, high country solo trips. David Long and Mike Duplan both kill book typicals in Colorado on DIY hunts on the 3rd video. If you're a mule deer nut and you haven't seen these video you're missing out. David Long is the man.

Anyone ever see Extreme Bucks 1-4 by Mike Eastmans brother Rod? Some great bucks on the winter range in Wyoming, not sure but I think the brothers had a falling out or something. Great on the hoof footage. He never made anymore that I found after that.

Also, another oldie with a lot of hoof footage is Phantom Bucks and Fast Trails. Bought it at the 1st or 2nd Mule Deer Expo in Salt Lake City. Great Arizona bucks. I think Sam Carpenter was involved in finding some of these deer?

I really like Muley Crazy. I would have to say overall they are number one, great on the hoof and hunting, huge bucks.

Just purchased Tines Up last week and really enjoyed what I saw!

When are we going to get Blue Rays so I can see how it would look on HDTV??

I have watched 'To Many Bucks'. Remember the scene where an eagle flies overhead and the bunch of bucks spook, like a school of fish?

My favorite videos for personal reasons, where filmed in 1954 and 1955 in western Colorado with my Grandfather and a few hunting buddies who came out from California each year to hunt with him. No sound, not the best picture, no kill shots, not the biggest bucks in the world (one outragous non-typical picked up), but great places to hunt that I hold dear. My father even makes an appearence as a gradeschooler carrying out a rack.

Muley Crazy is the best. Burly bucks is not very good at all. It is not even in the top 10.

The "Extreme Bucks" series, especially 1 and 2. It is some of the best footage of giant bucks, sheds and done before all the new blood videographers and all the hype. Videos were put out by RT Eastman.

I also like most of David Long's hunting videos, mostly the last couple. He just seems to put out some nice work without all the hype. That tall guy from Colorado added some decent footage too.

Muley Crazy are hands down the best muley dvds. Biggest bucks, and best live footage, no question there. Other good ones are Bearsears Bucks Unlimited, and Incredibulls & Bucks vol. 1&2. Magnum Mulies series by david long also has some real quality live footage.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-02-09 AT 11:28AM (MST)[p]Can anyone direct me to a video that has a lot of Henries Hunting?

What about Bucks of the Jicarilla 1-4 are damn goods ones too.Big bucks live and on the ground. Larson knows where the big boys hide over there. Number 4 is the best one i think.

I like the old Mike Eastman flicks. He is such a laid back good ole boy but he knows his stuff. His vids aren't always action packed but lots of knowledge and it always reminds me of my hunts in the west with deer that a guy can realistically hope to see. But for adrenaline...go Muley Crazy!

legendary muleys, never enough, magnum mulies and the big bucks movies that Christensen puts out, all good Jeff

"The Deer Hunter".......thats a good one HEHEHE....by the way those were Red Stag......My Favorite is Warren Hatcher's on the Wyoming Range Deer and then David Long's Magnum Mulies series...

The videos that i like the best are the ones that are made by average hunters or outdoors men that have a camera that they got at walmart and end up getting some of the best footage of some great trophy's. I like to get on youtube and check out some of the videos that other hunters like myself put together. Usually its the raw footage and no alterations have been made. Just my preference! But as far as professional videos, Paul Kendall has it figured out!!!!!!!!!

Never Enough series is my favortie by far.

I got all excited about the FMP stuff, and when I watched "The Ride" I was extremely dissappointed. Who wants to watch a bunch of gangstas ride around in a car on a hunting video?????????

Mike Eastman has some good stuff but I hate the way he acts in them and the music is terrible. Whenever my wife notices me watching a mike Eastman film, she ask me if I'm watching another "Qualty deer video" (Some of you may not get it). :D

If you like to see tons of Utah deer on the hoof in velvet, check out the Mossback Muleys series.

Mossbacks "Muleys Gone Wild 3" Cause I'm in it!

Seriously though I'm a huge fan of Paul Kendall, I own the complete set of "Never Enough" and I also have the Magnum Muley set with David Long and he really does it right too.

Some the best things about their videos are the respect they have for the land we are privledged to hunt on, and respect for the heritage and ehtics of hunting, both guys are class acts.

Rick

I like the videos that play something like AC/DC in the background and have hot chicks killing big bucks with archery equipment. I learn the most from these gigs.

I also like the videos that flash between black and white and color or have fuzzy footage.
