Colorado Post-Hunt Data

I'm guessing they've already flown or are wrapping up very soon. Anyone have any idea when the data will be posted. We'll finally get to see facts on how bad last years mortality really was.

I've heard and read perspectives from:
"80% mortality"
"carcasses everywhere"
"noticibly lower number on my hunt"
"Bad winter but not as bad as its being made out to be"
"A little higher than averager winter kill"
"feeding only congregated carcasses, winter kill no more than average"
"Saw about as many deer as I've seen in previous seasons"

So whats true? We'll find out soon....

RE: Colorado Post-Hunt Data

Does anyone have a link to 2008's hunt success statistics?

I'm curious to see the percentages were, I hunted in one of the more "premier" areas and saw plenty of winterkills but few animals.

No, because they have not posted it yet.
