Heartland West CWMU?

Has anyone hunted this unit or know anything about it? I am thinking that CWMU is the way I want to go and this Unit is close to home (meaning I can sleep in my own bed!) Just curious about any info on this unit

Call the operator. I talked with him and he seems like a good guy and seemed like an upstanding operator.

I have talked to the land owner and he said it is just starting to be managed for good deer but to not expect a 200" buck but you should be able to see some better then average deer

I have hunted it with a friend. It was poor, smaller 120-140 bucks, needs a lot of work to get the bucks age up. Lots of does and 2 and 3 points.

I am not looking for a monster. just hoping that this may be a tag I could draw while waiting to get my elk tag that would give me a better shot at a decent deer. I would be happy with a deer in the 140-160 range until I can start building points for bigger.
