I did not draw the deer combo. I did not have any preference points, so I was not expecting to be successful.

Looks like I will be taking my first trip ever to Montana this fall. I am really looking forward to it. I got really lucky and fell into a party that applied on a landowner app and we drew. I have never been there before, but they have a place to stay and I think they said 40,000 acres to hunt. All in all, it sounds to good to be true, but I am super excited for this hunt. Anyone ever hunted around Havre before? What kind of quality might one expect in this region?
