New World Record M Deer

I don't believe that deer would outscore the Burris Buck. Doesnt it score 226 1/8" anyways? Cool deer though!

I would guess there will be a different #1 for SCI and B&C but one way or the other it is one heck of a stud of a deer

Cool deer, but whom ever scored it needs to take a class on scoring from the B&C club. Just the lack of symmetry tells me it will not outscore the Burris Buck. If I remember correctly the inside spread credit can not be longer than the length of the main beam, which I sure is where they made up alot for that score from Who knows though, a new world record might be out there, I just don't believe this buck is it.

Thanks for posting!!
That is one heck of a deer and the oltimer needs
recognition for it.
I would like to see the B&C score, I'll bet
it would make the top 10 all time.
Congrats to MAX!

I'd like to get a better look at that buck if I could only get that obnoxious music to stop......

If you all remember right I started to post something about this and it got deleted some how, now sure why the post got deleted because I left town for a few days and when I came back it was gone, anyhow this is an awesome buck...

Any guesses on the net B&C score? 228 gross is pretty darn large for a typical, but I see quite a few deductions for symmetry, SCI doesn't deduct for symmetry. As was already mentioned SCI goes with inside spread even if the inside spread is bigger than the longest main beam, so there are some deductions there as well.

My guess would be somewhere in the 210 net range.

On a side note, I think I like the SCI scoring better where you don't deduct for non-typical points or for symmetry, but that is a whole discussion in itself.

Mute buttons work great.

So does that mean the burris buck has never been scored by sci. You would think that the burris buck would score even more with sci standards and would also be the world record for that.

Great question. What does the burris buck score SCI? I"m sure its been scored.

Say what you will about B&C scoring and "nets are for fish" but the net deductions almost always mean that buck has to be huge to make the book.
