Yes have a raffle for the top prize of a day with Bobcatbess on his quest for High Altitude Tune Ups.

For second prize, someone to ride Shotgun with USPS on their shipment of Cookies from Meola, Utah to California.

Sell a deck of cards for a safe. You should be able to get a safe for 650.00 decent one. Sell all the cards, jokers, instruction card, for 25.00 a card. When some one buys one, cut it in half, keep half, other half to buyer. Draw a winning card, later on during the event. Should make around 725.00 easy to do, & fun. Make sure you don't have the same color deck being used in an other game.

We sell travel mugs with raffle tickets in them. from 40 to 300 dollars in raffle tickets for 20.00 a piece. Our event is the Calif. Deer Assoc. We sell out every year, we sell 150 mugs. Tickets are cheap. But you have to wait for the raffle girls, they need chance to sell there tickets first, we have no problem selling the plastic mugs with our logo.

I forgot to tell you, we raffle a Yamaha quad ea year. We had the same dealer for the last 9 years,he sells it to us @ almost at cost. We sell 125 tickets, @ 100.ea. This is pretty good odds. Our banquet we get 280 people, we could add another 100 people, but we don't have a bigger building in our small town.If you have people that are good at selling tickets, should be no problem, we sell out every year before the banquet. Ever thought of strippers, huh, have ya? Well, might bring in some serious cash that way. You could have Bobcatbess spinning disks and anouncing the girls. Just something to think about.

Stripper idea, great idea. Old days Ducks Unlimited guys only, it was very interesting. Wouldn'y fly today, man good days.Mike

Here's a couple from our Elk Foundation Banquet:

1. Beer game: $10 per beer and there is a number written on the bottom of the can (1 through 3). Whatever number is on the bottom of the can is the number of general raffle tickets you get.

2. Coin Game: We used Elk Foundation Medallions. $20 per coin and the coins have numbers on them. Each coin has a corresponsing piece of paper with the same number on it. When the coin is purchased the piece of paper goes in the hat. At the end of the night, draw the number and whomever's coin it matches wins.

LAST EDITED ON May-16-09 AT 09:12AM (MST)[p]Last DUCK (or BUCK in this case) STANDING. Sell bingo cards for $5 or $10 each. Draw bingo numbers,if the number called is ON YOUR CARD YOU SIT DOWN. Last ONE STANDING SPLITS THE POT.

My wife just reminded me of the Heads or Tails game. $5 or $10 per person, people stand and are asked to put their hands on either their head or their tail, a coin is tossed, losers sit down last one standing splits the pot.

Let me know if these help.

I won a Fort Knox Gun safe with this game at our MDF banquet a couple years ago.

At our RMEF banquests we used to auction off the Special Banquet rifle. most of the time we would only make $100 - $300 over our $800 - $900 cost for the gun. We started giving the gun away on a raffle board. The raffle board was $20 per square and there are 121(11x11) squares. We always sold out raising $2420. The raffle winner had the choice of either taking the gun or taking half the cash ($1210). If they took the gun, then we at least netted about $1500. If they took the cash then we turn around and acution off the gun.

LAST EDITED ON May-18-09 AT 08:27AM (MST)[p]We have a game we call Drop a Deuce!!! We have a local farmer that donates a piglet. We draw 100 squares on a big tarp and place a small fence around it. We sell the squares for $20.00 a square. Place the pig in and have someone watch. The first square that gets dropped on is the winner!!! We also auction off the piglet at the live auction.
