LAST EDITED ON May-25-09 AT 08:22AM (MST)[p]Sorry 2009, I'm an idiot!
This is my second year bowhunting and last year I didn't bring anything home. I read about all of you long-time Muley afficionados, read Cameron Hanes and David Long, but still have to set my own goal for this year and be realistic.
I am going to give everything I've got this year. Since it will still be my first one, I'd like to come home with a 150-160" Muley (or bigger of course).
I guess where I struggle in my brain, is what I will settle for, since I've never gotten anything I don't want to go home empty. I think I'll try to go as big as I can on the buck, and if I don't succeed, I can hunt extended along the wasatch and get a doe, because their meat is better right?
Let me know what your goals are for this year, and let me know what your opinions are on my strategy, me being the novice.
Thanks MM'ers
