Just go in like you are buying a habitat stamp. Your list of stuff shows up on the page where you select your items. Got my 2nd choice deer, you need to select an item & checkout to see the hunt #.
After numerous rejections, it looks like I finally drew a tag this year. Unit 70 third season. Never been there before but sure I'm looking forward to my first CO muley hunt.
As he states, just having the 3 digit code that starts with a 5 tells you that you drew a deer tag, but doesn't specify if you got your 1st or second choice. Didn't know you could take it further and find out the code.
Looks like the wife and I will both be headed south. I'll be hunting muzz in the high country and she has a rifle license. Hope to smack a decent buck or two.
I just jumped on the Colorado site and tried the backdoor. It says "2009 491 Non Res Deer App" Does that mean I drew or does that mean I have just made application.
It sounds like a few of you out there have this thing figured out far better than me!
Select resident or NR. Select method of identification and input info. On the next page verify your info. The next page select "Buy Habitat Stamp and Other Lic" (something similar). On the following page scroll to the bottom of the screen and a list of your 2009 apps and tags will show. 590 (resident) or 591 (NR) means you have a tag, but doesn't tell you which tag.
Hope that helps.
I've got a tag, but dont' know which. I'm looking forward to knowing which tag I drew so I can get out scouting.
Once you have the 590 or 591 code listed, If you go to buy the stamp and check out, you can click on the deer link where it will list the unit you drew.
Hey Beanman keep your eyes open for a elk for me seeing how I got the muzzleloader elk tag.I plan on talking to you later and get some info.Congrats on the deer tag....Devlin
Thanks. I'm going to float the upper Animas this weekend so scouting will have to hold off for a little while. We are only 35 miles from 61 and it's my Wife's favorite area to camp...
