I drew a Colorado Unit 21/30 archery tag. Assuming I halfway know what I'm doing and I can shoot, what are my odds of killing one over 160? Over 175? and finally, over 190?

good, not so good, bad.....

I spent last year in there on a muzzle tag. Sounds like with the bucks going to hard horns it was tough along with 85 degree heat and wind quite a deal. Per the warden bow hunters had killed a few nice ones but we had 2 close encounters with 175" deer and couldn't close the deal. Seen around 25-30 bucks in 9 days--dawn and dusk only. Good Luck!!!

As we all know it is pretty tough to close the deal on a 170+ muley..even with a rifle! Have a good time and give it all you got!

There are few places to get away from the roads in the summer range that are actually huntable. Find the few and a 170 class buck is the low end of what you should be considering.

160 a fair chance, anything over 170 a poor chance, unless maybe you can hunt the C.C. ranch or agricultural lands [alfalfa fields]
I have hunted or helped friend 3 of last 5 years in the unit.

I had that tag last year, had a great time, saw tons of bucks, killed a cool 5x5 hard horned and grey late sept.
We saw some great bucks, the best 2 I think were over 190.
Saw a few more real good ones.
The deer are there its just how lucky or good you are.
