Hey guys, this last week I bought a Moultrie 5.0 Trail Camera. I was so excited to get it. Well, I set it up on a little varmint trail behind my house, and it took 129 pictures in 5 hours. Every picture was just of the trail except the very last one and it was a picture of a skunk. What do I need too do to get it to only take pics of the moving animals???

clear out any weeds in front of your camera this way the wind doesn't cause false pic

place your camera as close to the ground on the trees you use so when the wind blows it doesn't set the camera off

or place the camera on a cut off tree "stump' or tee post

dont face the camera facing the sun so east or west is out in my book.

I like facing the camera looking at what is coming down the train instead of perpendicular to the trail. this way you will always get the animals on your camera instead of a butt shot or missed other animals following the lead animal.

practice makes perfect and you will loose a few to thieves if you play the game long enough.
