We glassed this buck up 30 minutes before dark and decided to come back first thing in the morning and try to glass him up. The next morning we picked this buck up right away about 500 yards from where we had left him the evening before. The buck was bedded looking away from us so we knew if we could get on him quick that we might be able to get a shoot while he was still bedded. I got within 30 yards of him and i figured this was close enough, actually i believe i could have got closer but i didnt want to spook him and i felt good about the yardage. I drew my bow back on my knees and as i came to a full draw i stood up and as i stood up he turned and looked right at me and at that time i released my arrow and watched the arrow hit him, he ran about 120 yards and it was all over...>>----d.a.----->
