LAST EDITED ON Oct-05-09 AT 05:20PM (MST)[p]What a monster! This buck could be the new Idaho state record muzzleloader buck.

MonsterMuleys.com supporter, Steve Alderman, aka Lowlandmulies, has more photos of this 265 gross giant and lots of details about it on his website: http://www.muledeercountry.com

Take a moment and jump over to his site, read the article, and then click on "forum" over there to return to MM.

PS - Is he big enough for you?

Is that the same guy that was on the cover of Trophy Hunter a few years back with a giant archery buck?

Thanks coues, for pointing out the obvious. Would you be volunteering? I did clean up the story so I hope now you can get through it without getting confused.

Never claimed to be much of a writer but I wish sometimes that I was. I guess that is what an editor is for.... Mine was asleep when I wrote that story.

Again, thanks for your help as it has been a long couple of weeks hunting. The last thing I wanted to do when I got home was to immediately get on the computer and put together an article. Sometimes with bucks like these, there is simply no choice. It was late and I didn't proof it. Thanks for pointing it out to the thousands of people here on MM!

Great Buck, That is some mass on him.

"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".

This is an absolute giant buck, this caliber of deer shows what this area can produce if deer can get some age on them but its always up to the tag holder,it would be hard to watch a 200" deer grow into a 260" deer but look at the results. This is the best deer and story ive seen in a while.Congrats to the hunter.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-06-09 AT 00:06AM (MST)[p]Sorry, the new and no thing just really threw me off. Looks like its been fixed anyway. Great buck btw.

Steve, I appreciated the pictures and story on your website, thanks for getting it up so quick. I had heard about this buck, word travels fast around Boise and Mtn. Home as I was elk hunting in unit 45. I was thrilled to see the pictures on your site.

Thanks! Did you get your elk? If not, what kind of bull are you looking for? I know where there are four or five bulls I would gladly take you to! Let me know. I will be heading back down sometime this week for the rest of the season so you will have to contact me on my cell phone. I will pm you those numbers.
