Moms Hunt Paunsagunt 2009

LAST EDITED ON Oct-10-09 AT 09:04PM (MST)[p]Hey everyone, I just wanted to see if anyone could guess ahead of time what my mom will get on the Paunsaugunt rifle hunt next week. Winner gets to be "King of the Forum" for five minutes.

She has permission to hunt three different very large pieces of private property. The bucks have been moving for a while, and my dad has seen five pushing thirty wide so far.

Alright place your bids, and lets see who is correct.



I am guessing a 29" 4x5 187 BC!

p.s. I will be filming and be behind the binoculars Saturday and Monday. Then I have to come back to school in Logan and two of my brothers will be helping her a lot, and my dad will be there every minute of the hunt.

p.p.s My wife is going to be along for the ride on her first hunt ever (other than the two hours we hoped to see elk up Logan Canyon during the bow hunt).

The Pauns is an awesome time hunting. I would wait until the very last day to pull the trigger unless its a monster. 185+. My guess is 4X4 178.

Haven't talked to ya since you returned from the miss and you're already married. I hope your mom smokes a doozy!!! I spoke with Gerry a few days ago...I know between you your dad, gerry and james you should be able to help her find a great one

It sounds like they are not finding any monsters but the land owners where we will be hunting have seen a few. Come to think of it I am not sure if I have seen you since like 2005 when you were down there bow hunting with us on Cedar Mountain. Mom is getting ready and it should be great. She is not picky when it comes to what she will shoot, so we will have to see.

im going to say a 14" 2 point, he'll be with a monster but all the guys yelling and rushing her will cause her to shoot the next thing that moves! lol good luck to your mom, I hope she kills a monster!
