Great work Paul! That is one heck of a pedestal mount! Love the black burn in the wood. Brian should be pretty stoked! Good work buddy!

Congrates to both of you!!! Great bucks and a great mount job. However, Paul's work has always been tops. I have a couple mounts he has done and he prides his work no matter who the mount is for. Paul's work is tops with me!!! Thanks for sharing the pictures of the bucks and the mounts.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-17-09 AT 01:58PM (MST)[p]A little early for 2009! You getting busy already Founder?? LOL! Had to bring it up! Though that is when he probably wrote the check! Excellent work Paul! Don't worry about the quality of the pics - it is easy to see you focus on other talents! Great job.

Beautiful - all in all I'd say it was a good year, despite the controversy! I'd like to have a decade like that let alone one year!

I think the spacing works great - that stump is very very unique and would be hard to replicate - maybe you could put little road signs under each of them pointing the way to Colorad and Wyoming respectively!

LAST EDITED ON Mar-17-09 AT 02:54PM (MST)[p]Don't post his info....till he finishes my deer mount ;)

Paul's work is great and turn around is very reasonable.

That a great way to present those great bucks. That Taxi know his stuff, Hope I can have him do mine someday.

Congradulations Brian....

I looked at those mounts about 2 weeks ago! At the time I couldn't believe you killed that little velvet buck! Shoulda waited another year or 2 like a lot of hunters! LOL Only kidding! They are a great set of trophies and great taxi work as well, the draw back is.... you're going to have to get a bigger trophy room!

Good Job...... Dad

Thanks for the compliments on the work.... Brian has kept me busy with all of his big deer latley, he has had some great sucsess........

Gorgeous bucks Founder. Love the way the mounts turned out and they look real cool on that burned stump.

Great job Paul...
Paul does a great job on all his mounts.
My wife loves her bull and if by chance I can find one this year, who knows?
and nice bucks Brian..!

Hey Paul, this is Curtis from monarch mt. taxidermy. Excellent job my friend. I met you at the expo. I appreciated you putting that oak creek buck up front where you did. I admire your work. Keep it up. You give taxidermy a good name and others in the biz something to strive for. Founder, nice accomplishment on taking two great bucks, that is not as easy as it looks!!!!!!!

Paul,

Very nice mounts. I always enjoy seeing your work. I hope I can start keeping you busy as well?;-)

If anyone is looking for top-notch work in a timely fashion, Paul is your guy.

Paul's work is first class and a few have asked for his info. No one has posted his information that I have seen and Paul will not "Tot his own horn".

I know this is not a advertisment page so if anyone wishes to know paul's information send me a PM and I will PM you back his contact information.

Great work Paul and keep up the great work and new creative mounts!!!

I will post Paul's info., it's the least I can do since he is giving me that 50% discount :), right Paul????? LOL

Great work. I've never been a big fan of velvet mounts but for some reason I really like the ones where the velvet is starting to shred off. Again, very good work.

Wow!! Paul Pennie is the best!!!, He is the best taxidermist in the world, I mean everything I kill from hear on out, he is going to mount for me.. Freak, I am going to even name the next mule deer I find "Pennie" He is the man! The time that he spends on his mounts is un-real, He must really take the time to use ear liners. It looks like the deer are alive. They probably are going to jump off that stump and walk out. this web sight shouldn't be called monster muleys, it should be call,, Paul worlds greatest taxidermist.com If you dont take your stuff to Paul your just getting cut short! I mean BLT is like Neo in the matrix "He is the chosen one"

Funny muledeerman, Nice bucks and nice mounts, but that taxi isnt the only one to do a good job. There are alot of others that do as good or better.

Do you know how much taxidermy costs muledeerman?? We're all sucking up hoping for a discount!! LOL
So we're "neo" brown nosers, so what????

I haven't even drawn yet for 2009 and Founder has already got his mounts back!!!

Sounds like someone has little big man disease.. hahaha!! If you don't see the quality in Pauls work, then you've been living in a cage for the past 6 years... I know, maybe your another taxidermist who hates someone else being recognized? Or better yet, your one of those guys that just can't stand it when someone else gets acknowleged. Either way, your one post wonder is sad.

I'll chime in here with my $.02

Once taxidermy work reaches a certain level, obviously met here by Paul's work, i look beyond the actual mount to the story behind the hunt and the actual trophy itself. Very few trophies themselves stand alone as super fantastic examples of a specie. I like looking at someone's trophy, admiring it for it's beauty, talking of it's demise, the story and history of the hunt with all that entails, the way it should be remembered.

Congrats Brian!! 2 super fine bucks and because of your posts and updates, we got to share in the taking of these two dandies, makes them that much more special to me!

Muledeerman,If you look at the history of this post it was not meant to label me as the best taxi, someone seen founders bucks and liked them and then asked for some pics to share brians bucks with others,I am by far not the best taxi around, There are lots of guys that do awesome work in this area,I chose taxi for a living for the challange that it brings, And you can never learn enough or know it all, MM is a great tool to show your work and get reconized, I have talked to brian about a taxi forum, Hope we can see one on this site. My guess by reading your post is that we know each other, It seems as you have had your little feelers hurt, for this I am sorry.......I would love to talk too you direct, But you have chose to post one time under a false user name,So lets see some pics of your work, Like I said MM has been good to me As you can see by the feed back from the post,My intentions of posting the few pics that I do,Are to reconize the work and animals that I have done for people on this site, not to be labeled as the best or think that I am the best,I hope this helps with some of your pain you are having...........Muledeerman keep it real...

ktc and Antler r congrats on the tags you drew, Good luck on your hunts, Founders 2009 bucks....WTH!!! Bad typo,to much time in the shop......

Paul your quality taxi work speaks for it's self. Like your work, you too are a quality individual. A man of his word. I'll do business with a guy like you any day.
As to post #4......you won't be disappointed Jim...His quality of work reflects in his character(up front and honest), can't say that about all taxidermist.
Hope to be bringing in the wife's bull to you this fall. Keep up the great work!

Scott

>I am going to even
>name the next mule deer
