Colorado unit 31 & 32

I'm thinking about buying a landowner tag for Unit 31 & 32. Any opinions on whether it's worth it or not?

I didn't draw any tags this year and I'm dying to get out, but don't want to waste $$ if it's not a decent area.

Anybody have any info on these units? All I want to know is whether it's a decent area or not.

I have never been there or hunted either of them, but the few guys that I have asked where to hunt in Colorado have all said 31 then 32. So I imagine it to be sweet.

I hunted 32 archery right above Rifle.I saw one good buck in 8 days of hunting,my best day I saw 9 deer total.Good Luck......Jim

Sounds like mixed results. Anybody else ever hunted these units later in the season?

I have hunted 31 several times. Depends on how much you are paying and what you expect to see as to whether it is worth it or not. If the weather is cool and its a 3rd season tag you will see bucks. Limited blm where we hunted with lots of landlocked blm by private ranches and they patrol it heavily. We got vouchers one year for $500 and that was as much as I would pay for the hunt but I don't have a fat wallet either. You can draw 3rd season with one point so that tells you something. Depends on how much they are charging and how much you have to spend. I live across the road from 31 in 41. I wouldn't pay much to hunt either, certainly not what the local Palisade tag pimp wants for them. He advertizes on this site.
