2 Cache Bucks

2009 was a fun hunt on the Cache. My brother Bryan shot his buck within minutes of opening light. We debated momentarily whether or not to shoot him and we finally decided to put him on the dirt. The second buck was shot by my brother Joe's brother in law. This was his first year hunting and he comes from a family that does no hunting. He made a great 250 yard shot. I told him that he hit him after the first shot and he asked me how I knew. I told him about the sound it makes when the bullet strikes an animal. Sure enough we went down there and found his buck. I told him what an accomplishment it was that he got such a fine buck on his first year of hunting the Cache.

I have moved to the Idaho Falls area now so I am trying to figure out hunting in Idaho but I still plan on my yearly excursion to hunt the Cache. I will probably be the only Idaho resident buying a Northern Utah out of State liscence. You know the kind of country I like to hunt do you have any Idaho suggestions for me?
