Heres a picture of my wifes SD muley. She shot it on public land opening morning at 302 yds with one shot. It is a 7x5 and is 26 inches wide. It has a kicker of the g3 and the base on the right side.

I had been scouting this area and had seen this buck 3 days in a row before season. Opening morning found us hiking in the dark. Once shooting light arrived we spotted him chasing a doe down by the water. They went up the bank a ways and stopped. I ranged him at 302 yds. My wife shot and the deer went a few yds and tipped over. It was a short but exciting hunt. Then the work begin of packing him out. Thank God for packframes!!

Got to love hunting those muley in the rut. What County.

Nice buck, congrats to your wife.
South Dakota is my favorite place to hunt late season mulies.

So far this is the oldest I have ever been.

I was just counting all the scorable points. It has a kicker off its g-3 and a 1 1/2" point protruding from its base on its right side. Both eyeguards are over an inch.

In a post I had on the NM forum I said that I had shot a 27 inch 3pt and they all let me know that it has a 4x5 because it had a kicker and eyeguard on one side and an eyeguard on the other side. I wasn't trying to make it seem bigger then it is. I just wanted people to know how many points it had on each side.

Any ways it was the second buck that my wife has ever killed and she is very proud of it.
