This is my first post to the mule deer forum. I wanted to share a picture of a huge forky that my niece took this past weekend in the Texas panhandle. This guy was the size of a small horse...it's just too bad his antlers didn't match his body. We have actually tried to take this buck for a couple of years to get him out of the herd, but he always seemed to live a charmed life. Based on tooth wear, he appeared to be six or seven years old. On the positive side, this was Kaycia's first deer ever. Not a bad first buck, and cleaned up the genetics a little bit. Note the big smile on both huntress and dad...
