LAST EDITED ON Dec-14-09 AT 06:11PM (MST)[p]That buck is huge. Whats the story on that one. I'm guessing 192in frame, 8in of trash. He' got to be pushing the number. Sweet buck man.

Thanks Matt for getting those pictures resized for me. I was worried I'd have to take new pics in the garage with just the skull.

The story is a 15 yard shot and then being surprised on what he actually was. His head was in some scrub brush when I saw him and couldn't give him time to turn tail. I thought I was shooting a good strong, tall 4X4 at the time. I was going to settle on him since he was the only buck I had seen on public land during the opener. I'll see what others think the score is and let you know what he ended up grossing, since it's a side shot showing the forks, his main frame is around 25".

Remember you have to take the inside spread off the main beam!
kinda willow, i'm saying 182-184 if your lucky.

WOW put this buck at 182-184, and the 8x8 at 190.hmmmmmm

It always matters what they score. Most the guesses were close. 88 5/8 on one side, 81 3/8 on the other. 19 1/8 inside with 10 5/8 of trash. Grosses 199 6/8. Scary thing about it was that he was a young deer, figured him at four. 3's and 4's on the strong side were both over 14.

I have a couple bucks in the 180s and he's definately bigger than mine. Good, good buck! Congrates hardhorn.
