Unit 73 Idaho

Hey guys not looking for honey holes. Im looking for an area to get away from people and roads. I would like to backpack in somewhere if possible. Any help would be appreciated

You want to get away from people in 73. Good luck with that. There is not one place in unit 73 that you can get away from people. If you dont like to hunt with a circus of orange clad idiots better find a new unit.

Forget about the crowds, I'm racking my brain trying to think of a spot in the unit where you'd have more than a 10 minute backpacking hike away from a wheeler trail!

So there's lots of people and lots of roads. Is there many deer? I'm just looking for a hunt close to home and not Utah. Any help would be appreciated any at all

Very interesting posts, they must have changed the rules since I hunted there. Unit 73 outlawed the use of atv's during hunting season years ago and I hunted it a lot for many years without seeing many people. I am not very good with these computers, but I will try to figure out how to send you a PM.
