I'm extremely familiar with the unit and am thinking about putting in for 2010. Wanted to hear what others think about that hunt. I've never spent any time out there during November. Any information is appreciated.

I had that tag last year also had kidney stones during the best part of the season so i didn't get to hunt as much as i would have wanted to. but i did on my last day i was gonna be able to hunt get this buck. He is what you should expect to see in that unit during that time of the year maybe a littler better. "nothing special" just a note make sure you try to get permission on private ground that is where the better bucks stay mostly. and its mostly private. be prepared to do a lot of walking or horse back F&G are thick up there.

I have been all over 32 its the same sad story as other Idaho deer units it used to be a really good hunt!!!! there are still a few big bucks in that unit, a buddy of mine hunts the general season up off the 32/32A border they hunted for 2 weeks straight saw lots of does & dinks & 1 little 4 point.. they did kicked up a huge 30" plus buck 3 of them saw it but not one of them got off a shot..he said it was the biggest buck he had seen in the last 20 years that they have hunted that area {they concentrate mostly on elk}... I trap & hunt yotes usually from end of october thru april & in the last 15 years I can honestly say I nahe not seen a buck that I would call huge..there are some good bucks that move in there if the mountains get alot of snow the Dodson pass area over on the east border holds some deer also but like 95 % of the unit it is private & most of the land owners either lease their land out or flat dont allow anyone to hunt it..the Paddock area is also the same.I also have a buddy that lives in Indian Valley & he has permission to hunt almost all the land around that area & he hasnt seen or killed a buck over 27" about a 165 buck in the 9 years he has lived there & he is a hunting fool...
