I filmed this buck on the Henry's and Im sure someone shot him. Just wondering what it scored or what you think it would score. I just loved the shape of his hornes and wondered if I would have shot him. Thanks

I wouldn't strip the velvet, that would make a sick mount. Only thing he's lacking is width

Awesome buck..!!! That curvy rack is amazing..!!! It really makes his score deceiving. If those antlers were straight up like a "normal" buck... It'd be an easier guess... I put him at about 196" so I don't doubt I could miss 5 inches with the deceptive character.
That is just incredible... I perfer hard-horns myself, but that one would probably go on my wall AS-IS

elkhunter386, that is corys buck he would love to talk to you or get some pics if you have some, I will send you a pm with corys #. As for his buck it will be in the taxi booth out front where you validate your applications......Also he is hard horned, the velvet was could not be saved.........

This is a really good thread! I'd not have guessed him that high, maybe 190 or so, but great pic's and being we now do know just how big he really was...very informative!!

I tried to email you the pictures and I get message undeliverable. I wonder if Hotmail limits the attachment size. I will just bring the pictures on CD and the DVD of the footage I took to the Expo.

the official hard horn score was 199 2/8. I would have loved to keep the velvet and score of 201 but i was unable to safe it.
