Badlands Mulies

It is time to plan for next year.
I am planning a mule deer hunt to North Dakota Badlands. I have got maps of Little Missouri Gasslands and have been cross checking it with google earth to look at areas. I would like to make a run over there once before season to scout. I have never hunted mule deer or the badlands before. Planning on hunting the early season. There looks like there is some good are on Magpie Rd. Any help would be great.

good area to start. lots of area to hunt. over a million acres of public grasslands to hunt. magpie is a great area if you go there you won't be able to hunt it all so much country. you bow or gun?if bow hunting come when you can hunt goats to its more fun.good luck.

ND is a great place to hunt muleys with a bow. Most places in the badlands will have PY caliber of bucks. Hunt hard and use your optics. Have fun!!!
