Hey everyone! long time pokin around this sight, first time posting.Im 23 an recently moved out to WA, Everett area, from CT. Cant wait to get in the woods and do some hunting. I was wondering if anyone would like to pass along any information about hunting out west. What im looking for is for this fall to hunt either mule deer or antelope, willing to drive as far as S Dakota, will only have around 5 days or so to actually hunt, looking for an OTC tag or easy draw. Im not worried about tagging a trophy or record animal, looking more for a fun hunt, an decent shot at getting something on the ground! I have no preferance points in anything, an have never hunted out here. So does any one have any ideas that might fit the bill?? looking to get the ball rolling sooner rather then later. Thanks for the help, -Zach
BTW, just bought a X bolt in .300wsm, pretty stoked!

Zack, You missed the ball to put in for Deer and Antelope in Wyoming but there will be leftover tags for both, still available after the draw.

From what you are telling us, you should not have any problems having a fun hunt and at least getting a antelope. Call Wyoming's dept of Wildlife, ask to speak to someone who could help you, and start making plans to go...

You'll want to get maps and stuff but It's really that easy!

+1 to sage. I get over the counter tags in wyoming every year for antelope and deer. Wyoming is a pretty fun place to hunt.
