Hard to figure, but it appears to becoming a typical!
Here he is early last week. I'll hopefully see him soon, as he has probably gained a couple more inches from this picture.

Thanks, Mike

Still a bit early, but look at that mass!! Keep up the great work. It is appreciated by a buttload of us here on MM. Thanks

I wonder what genetic glitch would cause a double rack one season, and then a single set the next season, maybe even normal configuration?

It will be good seeing how he does turn out after the rack last year. THANKs for keeping us updated with the pictures.

WOW Mike! He sure is going to be a huge buck this year. I have started seeing some great growth this last week in southern CA. Some bucks already close to 20". Looks to be a great year for growth in CA.

He looks good, some great width, The winter didn't hurt him a bit.

"Looks to be a great year for growth in CA." You should try posting this statement in the Political Forum... LOL

why are you putting pictures of this deer on here? its only a two point.

to me he does look the same in the face , but i would have epected something different in the antlers?

i'm absolutley not second guessing your oppinion because you had pics of him so many times last year.

but is there any chance whatsoever it could be the wrong buck?

why the awsome non-typical last year than this?

by-the-way- still VERY cool!

Well, in my mind it is 100% Medusa, but what do you guys think?

The top picture is this year a 100yds from where the bottom picture was taken last year.

Thanks, Mike

Yeah it's him alright, Black Spot in his right ear and the same split in his left ear. Cant wait until he is done growing. Very Cool

Mike for sure it is him! Cant wait to see him in another 2 months. Did you find his sheds or hear of anyone else close by finding them?

I'm sure it's him too. He still might grow some abnormal stuff off of those awesome bases this year. Don't count him as a typical just yet, IMO.
