How many guns do you guys own? And how often do you shoot them whether it be hunting or just target practice. I always thought my dad was crazy but now I'm gettin to be just like him.
Growing up he had at one point a total of 21 shotguns, rifles and pistols combined. He had a variety of .22's (5 total), I believe he had 3 .410 shotguns, a 20 gauge .22 over under, 2 30-06 rifles, 1 7mm, 1 6mm and a .22 pistol revolver are the main ones I remember. Most of these have been handed down to all my brothers/sister and myself.
Now, I recieved 3 rifles from my dad, (30-06 pump, 20 ga .22 over under, .22 semi automatic), along with some just old shooter guns but I want MANY MANY MORE!!!
We use to shoot quite a bit but not too much anymore.

I have (2) 30-06's, (1) .222, (1) 12 gauge, (2) .357 magnums, (1) 9MM, (1) .380, (1) compund bow, (1) longbow, and (1) recurve. I never shoot the guns anymore, bows are so much more fun.

Two.22s,.22mag,.243, 25/06, .270, 30/30, 41mag, 410, 12ga, 50cal mz, & 3 compound bows. I shoot about every two months or so. I've slowed down....

Well my wife says that I am weird but now I see that I am in the norm. I have 2x .22 pistols, a 2nd gen. SAA Colt 45LC, SAA copy 45LC, a Glock 19 9mm, S&W 40cal Sigma, AR-15, AK copy, .223 var. rifle, 243, 270, 3X 7mm Mags, 3X 30-06, 30-30, 35rem, 2X .22 rifles, 22Mag, 22Hornet, 20Ga and I think thats all of them. If not the wife will remind me because she remembers every little thing that I ever did and did wrong. Jovan

I have 3-870s(12ga), 4-.22 rifles, 2-.22 revolvers, A T/C encore with a 30-06 and 22-250 barrels another 30-06, another 22-250, a 30-30, .22 special, .45 cal baby eagle, and last but not least the new 270wsm, and more to come in the future

1-7mm rem mag 1-6.5x.06 1-.243 1-30.06 1-.22 rifle 1-.22 pistol 1-12 gauge 1-20 gauge 1-.50cal muzzle loader 4-bows I shoot them all more depending the tag or tags I draw. Preparing for a hunt I might shoot them every day for months but I do shoot to prepare for every hunt I draw (Arizona hunters have to draw everything except archery deer). I do shoot my bows more often since I feel they require more handling to keep my confidence with them.

had a kitchen fire last nov. on the first day of Az. deer season i might add. had a buncha folks in and outta the house for quite awhile fixing it. decided i'd get all my guns out for awhile just to keep the temptation down and chance for some stranger to case the joint a little less. had never really counted em all. anyway, had 66 all told. rifles, pistols, shotguns, muzzleloaders, .22's. my ol' lady threw a fit. she knew there were a bunch, but not that many. i was kinda proud.
biggest hole in the barrel for rifles is a model 1886 .45/90. got abuncha .270's, '06's, .300mags, .243's, .22/250's, .223's
etc, etc. the thing is, i need more. lots more. gots ta have em. my ol' man has went the other way. he has his .270, a .250 savage, a 12 guage wingmaster, a .22 mag lever action winchester and a .22 ruger pistol. he used to be worse than me.

Let's just say I have way over two dozen rifles, shotguns, muzzleloaders, pistols and that's not count'in the bows!! Too many to list, but not too many to have! I'm think'in about that new Savage 411 Dbl.barrel in .20ga. so I can upland hunt w/ my dogs and be like "Dash and Dez" on OUTDOOR LIFE TV , LOL!!!

LAST EDITED ON May-07-03 AT 04:18PM (MST)[p].410 single, 31 Remington, Rem 870, Ruger 10/22, Marlin #66, (2) old pump .22's can't even remember the model #'s, 1 rem, and 1 win. (2) Tricked out AR-15's, Custom 6mm on a savage action, Ruger 25/06 VT (best shooter of my collection), Custom 7mm, Kimber 45acp, T/C muzz, PSE Mach 6, and a hardly shot Mathews Conquest 2, which is incedentaly for sale...

Think I forgot a couple... Would have to look again, to remember which... Mainly just shoot the 10/22, AR's, 25, 870 and 45 for the most part. Those are my favorites.

Oh ya, High Standard 22 auto pistol, and some 32 cal five shooter made in 1858, can hardly read the stamping on anymore.

I have one 870 20 gauge, 1 870 12 gauge, an old Ithaca 12 gauge that shoots beautifully, 1955 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight .308, Remington 700 .30-06, an old timer Colt .38, and a S&W 629 .44 mag. Just sold my Ruger MKII and Glock 23 to buy the .44. I'd really really like to get my hands on an old Luger.

I also have a PSE compound and a longbow.

I have a bunch, I have two large safes full. About forty sum guns. I enjoy all of them, they are a lot of fun to shoot.

A few years back in our small town we got a new nurse and she was straight out of New York City. We invited her over for dinner one night and her eyes about bugged out when she walked into our living room and saw all the guns the wife and I have in our gun cabinet.
Why so many? she said, so I proceeded to tell her this is one is for ducks, this ones for deer, this ones for coyotes, ect.
You and your wife are the first persons I ever met that actually use a gun for hunting! she said
We have a total of 17 rifles, shotguns and pistols and none have ever been fired at a Human.
