WYO 102 DEER?

I just drew 102 deer tag and wondering if anyone has been in the area last year or year before?Im wondering how deer numbers are doing.And if someone has any good pointers.I will greatly appreciate it.Thanks PM if you want

Lots of 150-160 class bucks. A few 170-180 bucks. Anything over that I wouldn't worry about. Why worry about something that you will not have to deal with

Fun hunt. If you can't scout I'd hunt the last week...

Just go out there and have fun. Shoot some coyotes. Find some sheds. See a lot of elk and deer. Doesn't get much better than that

I am in 102 and 31/32 elk alot.

I have seen some real nice velvet bucks and velvet bulls since mid-may......

One simply huge Antelope Buck too.....

Real wet May and into June...muchy--muchy 2 tracks......but still real good hiking.

You guys will be fine.

My wife and I hunted 102 last year. While spotting before the hunt, we saw a lot of 140-150 type bucks a few 160-170 and only a handfull of 180+ we hunted hard and my wife ended up with a 24" buck that scored just under 160 and I taged a 29" 170 buck. The quality is way down from what it was a few years ago. Just don't put your expectations any higher than the biggest buck that you find while spotting.... and have fun its a great hunt.

Heading up there today for the weekend. Will let you guys know what we see. Father drew a 32 elk tag so we'll be in the southern portion of the unit. Hopefully we'll get some good pics for you guys.
