I drew a doe tag there in '04, saw a lot of good bucks running around. The hunt we had was in the middle of Nov.

There are some big old bucks on the unit. just a matter of finding them!

ANy pointers on which section to hunt? Have you seen pics at all?

Yep I have some pics, Ill see if I can post them. My bro in law shot a 205 buck a few years back then a mid 180's buck last year. The unit was hit hard a few winters back but the good bucks are coming back, we saw alot of potential shooters last year. and some that were already shooters.

i would love to see those pics or you can send them to my email [email protected]. Ive heard stories just havent seen pics, i know brandon bergnaole and ive also seen some good size deer up there. i only had 1 point.

I hunted for two days around taylor hollow. When i movd across to the west side of the res it was better hunting. lots better bucks and alot bigger. When i killed mine it was snowin like hell and i couldnt get up top where i found 3 shooters because of snow. And it was the last day of the hunt. So I took a 3x4 around 22 inches. Not what i wanted but i was limited to that side till the paying customers were done hunting. If i only had 2 more days there i would have got a nice one.

I thought a CWMU tag allowed a person to hunt the whole unit? Sounds like a great place to go if you can't hunt the whole thing.
