How wide is he?

I would give him 25-26 wide, and hope for no ground shrinkage, I am guessing ear tip to tip at 22" and he appears to be about an 1 1/2 past on each side at least. bugs are definately in his face the way he is flapping his ears around though and they may be a little stretched out, LOL

i think that buck is 24-25" now and gonna be around 28".

Shoot him this season and let's find out for sure! :)

28 huh? Well let's hope so! He has a cool look to him. At lest I think so. I think it might be worth it to through a arrow at him.

I think he's closer to 26" then 24" and He's worth throwing a couple of arrows at.

I think you are right on with 24 but he may be wider by the season as he is still tipped out at the end of the main beams. If he was an old deer he might be wider but I think he is 3 or 4 and not huge bodied that coupled with the rear view and he looks wider than he is. So 24 is my feeling too. Oh and I was feeling sorry for him with the bugs.

He is at least 24 and maybe some change. I would hesitate to shoot at him at least at the beginning of the season. Mostly because of tine length. He has okay mass and good width I would say. If he is in an isolated area that hardly ever gets hunted it could pay off to see what he is next year. Where are you hunting? I guess that area he is in can make a big difference in you decision to shoot or not. In Utah's southern region I would not shoot him for a few days until I was unable to turn over anything with better length. Awesome buck though, I just think he needs to grow up.

I think that is a very goofy looking buck IMHO... I suppose size should be compared ralative to the area being hunted and the persons expectations, just sayin for example if that was a general norther Utah buck he would be hammered by 95% of hunters :)

Sit tall in the saddle, hold your head up high, keep your eyes fixed to where the trail meets the sky...

He looks to me to have the "flair" thing going with the way his rack is growing. i think he'll end up wider when its all said and done. Right now I'd go about 24 on the width
