Have been doing some scouting, but I am having a really hard time finding bigger bucks. I saw this one last week and thought he looked okay, but when I got home and looked at the photos zoomed in on the computer I thought he was maybe a little bigger than I had originally thought? 170+???

This was a really cool buck too, with the inlines he will probably break 170, but I sure wish he was a few inches wider.

Both cool looking bucks.....but the top one looks like a 160's type buck to me......I don't think he'll break 170".

The second buck, although not wide, looks to have much better tine length and mass.....along with those cool looking in-lines. I think the second buck has a better chance of breaking 170" gross. JMO

LAST EDITED ON Aug-08-10 AT 10:35AM (MST)[p]is that a bookcliff deer? I looks like a buck Ive seen photos of this year.

I think he will go over 170 with the extras!

the other buck will not :-(

actually I am 90% sure Ive seen that buck before!

There are no big bucks in Utah! LOL

Top buck high 150's bottom buck not wide but good tine length, good mass and some extras should brake 170 but will be close
Both good deer general archery let the arrow fly
Good luck !!!

regardless of the score or potential score he is a beautiful buck...sadly, too many are juiced up on scores...

I'd say no on the 170. However, he is a good looking buck. Keep track of him for a back up if nothing else shows up.

KILL #2!!!! Matching 5x5, symmetry, in-lines...who cares about width? He's a sweet deer. I'd take him all day.

If the inlines buck makes it through archery season I might go looking for him, I have a muzz tag. I am still hoping to turn up something a little bigger, but big bucks are hard to come by it seems like.

Whats wrong with someone wanting to know what a buck will score?!

Sit tall in the saddle, hold your head up high, keep your eyes fixed to where the trail meets the sky...

I would hunt him and hope I ran across a bigger one and if not he could wear my tag.

i"ll be honest. if i was presented that opportunity on any of the bucks you have here, i'd shoot 'em. even those smaller ones in the last picture. i just love velvet bucks

Top buck looks like he'll be pushing 170" to me, but it's hard to tell if his right side is as good as his left. If it is, then I think he makes it, but it looks like the right side is weaker and may keep him from making the mark. I, like others, like the inline buck the best. He'll be a hoss if you let him go until next year, but depending on the pressure in your area, that me be a big risk letting him go. I think the inline buck breaks 170".
