102 archery wyoming deer

Is it worth it to get the archery tag? Should I just wait for the rifle season? Thanks for any info.

I was there this last week doing some scouting for the antelope and elk hunts and was amazed at the deer I saw. The deer looked a lot better than last year. I saw three or four bucks that would very easy be over 180 in just two days I think it's worth it. I have never seen the mountian that green in August before. Should be a great year.

I hunted the archery hunt last year and had a blast. Saw 20-30 bucks a day and basically had the place to myself. The thrill of getting in range of a group of bucks with your bow is incrediable. If you mess up a stalk move around and find some more to play with. It's a definite yes.

Do you have to draw archery tags in Wyoming for mule deer? I do nto see archery tags listed in the hunt draw odds?

Iown, you have to get drawn for the rifle tag and then pay like $30 (NR)and you can try to fill the tag with a bow. The archery season last all of Sept.
