South Neba WMA

I was wondering if anyone has hunted this WMA west of Manti. My little bro will be hunting with his muzzleloader for the first time and I was wondering if anyone has ever hunted or scouted this area. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Go anyplace you can find water. This unit is really dry. Look for the maples they usually grow where the ground in more moist. There is not a lot of deer on this unit. The tops were chained to the max by BLM and private land owners years ago and the bucks harvested on the unit have dropped drastically ever since. I was over there a couple weeks ago and looked at some little bucks that were just off the south end of the unit, so there are deer. You're just going to have to work for them.
