Henry Mtns WR Typ.

Do you guys think that the Henry?s could produce a new world record typical (226? net)? There have been multiple huge typicals taken there the last couple years, so that means these big typicals aren't all that special or uncommon for the area. I'm thinking the Henry?s could produce a freak of nature and set a new world record!

I'd put my money on Colorado with Sonora a distant second. As far as non typical...Colorado with Alberta or Kalifonicated a close second.

The odds of the Burris buck ever being topped is slim IMO.
It would require a near perfect mainframe large enough to
offset any deductions and an animal living that long in near
ideal conditions to attain a rack surpassing 226". It's just
near impossible with habitat loss,increased predation,trophy
hunting that limit the longevity or potential of a future #1
typical. But like the Burris buck, anything is possible.

My money is on the Arizona Strip 13B. They just killed a velvet buck that is in that area.

I think the Burris buck is just slightly behind the Chadwick ram as far as trophies that will never be broken. Always a chance I guess, but there are tons of studs being killed that don't even come close to a 226 NET frame. If it does get broken, I think Colorado, Sonora, or Saskatchewan will claim title.

It was killed with a bow. 240 gross and nets in the 220s. You can see in in the AZ section.

Yeah, Matt's buck has been posted everywhere. It is a monster, but typical gross is in the 220's. NET will be considerably less. IMO, not even in the same ballpark as the Burris Buck.

This buck is one of the largest that will score typical that I have seen in a while... But, it will Net WAY BELOW the current record typical... The difference in G4s alone will knock off the top mark...

But, I would not doubt an almost record off the Henry's, I just don't think the genetics are good enough for a typical to emerge that will unseat the Burris Buck...

My vote would be with Sonora- seems like the typical genes there are the best... Still, it's almost unattainable
