This buck was a very tall 2 point last year. This year he's a BIG 3 point. He's not an old buck, maybe 4 years, but he's VERY tall and has great mass. Inside spread is only about 8 or 9 inches. I'm very tempted this year because he is so interesting. I'm afraid he won't make it if I give him another year.(Someone else's lead poisoning) I took this picture through my spotting scope at about 600 yards.

"What do you think", "... Inside spread is only about 8 or 9 inches."

I think that you are way underestimating the inside spread on that buck. Still we can see that he's not very wide... so i get your point.

Depends on what kind of a hunt i'm on and where i'm at. I don't worry about a buck getting shot by someone else once i've decided to pass on him. If i passed him up, for one reason or another, usually, he just didn't float my boat at the time and i'm on to finding one that does. I could see going either way on this one. Good luck!!

Take him out of the gene pool.

That's a pretty cool buck. I wouldn't be ashamed to shoot him, depending on the situation. Especially if it was a down hill drag.:) We all dream of perfect 190 4X4s. Every deer is unique and perfect in its own right. Only you can decide.

With a general tag. . . . I would stick him. He is a way cool looking buck

I'll tell you who it was . . . it was that D@MN Sasquatch!

I love a big unique buck like that! Remember score only matters if u want to impress others or set records.

Yeah, isn't that the "pet" buck hanging out in Cedar Canyon between Rusty's and Milt's?!?!?! I say take him, we need to start cleaning out some of the riff raff on both Cedar and Beaver mountains especially the 3x4 and 2x3s that are somehow beginning to taint the herd.
