I killed this buck on opening morning in Wyoming. We back packed in 2 miles and pitched tents at 9500'. We spotted this buck and multapul others right at sun up. I made a 438 yard shot and the buck rolled down a pretty nasty cliff. After a few high fives the hard part started. We boned him out and hicked back to camp packed and headed back down to the trail head. Good times, Good times. The other buck is one that my wifes grandpa shot the next day.

Really good bucks! Congratulations are in order.

Great photos too. I like the high country bucks....tough hunting.

Both great quality bucks, yours is a damn good one. Amazing how some bucks already shed a few weeks ago, and there are some bucks running around in velvet still.
