This year we had three tags in our house. We put in several hours of scouting and many trips to the mountain. I am posting the pics of my deer and my 12 year old daughters first deer. My 15 year old daughter hit a good buck, we tracked him until the trail gave out, then 8 days later he showed up back in the same place he was shot. If I can figure out the posting pic process, I will include before and after pics.

Really nice to see some girls happy with harvesting something. Both nice deer. The one in the trail cam pic is a stud! Is that the one that got hit but survived?

Yes the middle pic is of the one that got hit and showed up later. If you look at the pic, you can see where he was hit. Just behind the shoulder there is the scar.

Wow!! That look's like a pretty good hit on the One that made it...what was the angle? Nice Buck's and congrats to your daughter's. HAWK

I only hope I can have half the success with my family when they are grown up... Great pics man...!!! Thanks for sharing, and I hope that buck goes on your wall...

Also, looks like both of your kids are dead eyes...!!! Can't believe that other stud lived...

Nice Bucks.
Had to be the angle because shot placement looks pretty good or not enough poundage.
Wish she would got him she did pretty good still.

"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".

THe angle was completely broadside. We have pics of the scar on his otherside. It was a complete pass through. We hope to get him on the muzzle loader. He has been back in front of that camera almost every day. Wish her luck.

That was awesome! I'm hoping to have my 12 year old daughter ready for the archery hunt next year!!
