It's a toss up for me between these 4 archery bucks. They all score right about the same 175-180" My biggest is a 192" 8x8 but that was a rifle kill. I will have to find a picture of it somewhere and download it to the computer but for now these 4 will have to do. A lower scoring archery buck is always bigger to me then a higher scoring rifle buck.

It was back before you had to draw a tag and there were hunters everywhere. I put the spare tire back on the Jeep and headed for camp. We went past at least twenty camps on the way and got lots of looks. he looked pretty cool hanging out the back.

My 3 best bucks all about the same. My NM archery buck. My very first big buck i ever shot. 28 wide score 182

My 07 CO archery buck. 26 wide scored 182 P&Y.

My NV buck killed with a side lock muzz about 4 years ago.Nice wide buck that i got with my ole man so it might be my all time favorite.

I thought i would through a pic of one of my ole mans best deer shot in ID in the mid 80s. 7x8 35 wide.

No, that buck was taken a long time ago. My dad recently had it re-mounted since the original was falling apart.

If I did the math right, it would be around 1974 off the lower end of Pahvant, Utah.

If you don't mind me asking, what state did you get this in. I saw a buck like this probably 12 years ago. The buck I saw was in Nevada and I took some guys I worked with out to a place I knew of. We saw a buck like this sky line and went after him. When we got on top we found him in a little bowl standing broad side at under 100 yards. The guys I was with didn't want to take him cause he was "ugly." I could have beat them for that. It was the coolest buck I have ever seen, and the widest. The one I saw was a nice 5 point on one side, with his other side laid out like yours, and palmated on the end with 5 little nubies like an inch long. So I guess he was a 5x5. I would have taken him without even thinking about it.
