My Utah muzzy buck

Here is my buck from the Utah muzzleloader general hunt. He is 27' wide, any guess on the score? Also just wanted some takes on his right G2, tip is broken off. It was that way when I shot him. Should I get it fixed or leave it alone?

LAST EDITED ON Oct-03-10 AT 06:08PM (MST)[p]I score it very nice! Good job. I'll let the experts toss #'s around.

Edit to comment on fixing the broken tine. I wouldn't, it adds to the deers character in my opimion.

Slick

Really great GENERAL UTAH BUCK!

I wouldn't fix it unless it really bothers you.

id say gross mid 150 to low 160 buck.

There are no big bucks in Utah! LOL

Nice buck. I too never get the points fixed because that isn't what you shot.

Thanks for all your responses, its looking like I'll leave it as is. The more and more I think about it, it only makes sense to NOT fix it, thanks again

Yeah, I would leave him the way he is. It gives him a bit more character, not that he needs it.

Thanks again for all the comments. I don't normally like to kiss and tell..... But yes he is a wasatch front buck

Not too shaby, thanks for getting him out of the geene pool :)

Sit tall in the saddle, hold your head up high, keep your eyes fixed to where the trail meets the sky...

Thanks (I think?), i'd take one like that out of the gene pool every year if I could

Great buck, nice job.
I would absolutely NOT fix it, the broken antler represents who your buck is.
I shot an elk in 07 with my bow that has 5 inches broken off of each g3. He is a 368 elk with them off, and a 378 elk with them on...I did not fix them, and call him a 368 elk.

I think the horns on their head when you shoot them represent your animal. Yours is such a nice one as is, my advice leave it.

Nice buck!

HA,HA,HA, what took you so long? Forgive me, I had forgotten that MR. MONSTER MULEY might be reading this thread. Maybe we should start segregating monster bucks from "stupid little bucks". Thanks again for reminding me of your royalty in the big buck world!!!!!!!!!

THE WEBSITE IS CALLED MONSTER MULEYS NOT DINK BUCKS FROM THE WASATCH FRONT

IF YOU WANT TO SHARE PICS LET ME KNOW WOULDNT WASTE MONEY IN MOUNTING THAT KIND OF BUCK

NBJB, first thanks for putting back on top of the thread. Second, I never stopped knowing how awesome you are, your house must be full of 190+ bucks (although I doubt you would mount anything that small). The funniest thing and ironik thing is your choice in words "DINK".

Good buck mount him as you killed him.

"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".

Good looking buck, I would mount him any way you want. You're the one that's going to look at him each day. I prefer to mount them the way I saw them while hunting it helps to remember the hunt. I'd guess the score right around 160.
