San Juan Elk Ridge Deer

I have been hoping to see some pics/stories of bucks coming out of this unit. I have seen some great bucks there over the years but things have been pretty quiet lately. Elk hunters see any good bucks? Thanks.

I spent Sat, Sun, and Monday of the spike elk hunt out on the ridge and saw very few deer and no real big deer. The most deer we saw was on the north elk ridge.

Back in early sept. we were seeing about 10 decent bucks daily. We were seeing them on the North Elk ridge. When I say decent, i mean 25-28" (150-175"). I didn't see anything bigger and have heard there are bigger down there but we were after elk and the deer were just a side note. A lot of them were 3X4's. Hope it helps.
