Wyoming deer

Went out to Wyoming this past weekend hunting deer. Took the family with me since the kids were out of school. I had seen this buck on several scouting trips. He stayed in the same little draw(big mistake). Opening morning I just couldn't pass him up. Here he is.

I always tell my kids "if the first branch is beyond the ear tips, he is probably a trophy". that one definitly qualifies!!!

Thanks everybody, It was nice having my family there. After we got the deer we stayed and just enjoyed the outdoors. The only problem was my little girl, she kept telling me, daddy you shoot that antelope! She wanted me to shoot every thing we seen.
I thing I created a monster.

Nice buck, hopefully this makes up for all the antelope BS in the antelope posts!! I dig a buck with cheaters!! I have a tough time passing them up.
