I too was just thinking about this the other day! If I recall correctly, it was an Eastman's issue with a buck from Mexico?? Would love to see ANY pics of huge 3's, they are so sweet lookin!

I am just guessing and I'm sure there is some crazy three point that beat the system, but I don't think it is real likely that a three point could net enough to get in.

He would have to be a real stud.

NO 3x3's listed in the All-Time B&C Record book as of the 2005 Awards.
NO 3x3's listed in the 2004-2006 Game Awards Book either.

You got to post pics man

I saw a straight 3 pt. on the Henry's that I KNOW would make book. I bet his main beams were close to 29-30 inches and had HUGE backs and probably 28-29 wide.

I've posted pics of this buck before, he green scored 174 net and has a 25" outside spread. I don't know where you could fit another 16" to put him in the book, maybe if he had ridiculous mains and another 5" of spread he'd be close.

I remember that buck in Eastmans. It was from mexico and I remember them saying it would make book as a 3 point.

A three point with eye guards would be listed as a 4x4 in B&C. Looking in the book 4x4 could be a 4x4 with no eye guards or 3x3 with eye guards. No way to tell the difference. My wife just passed on a 170 inch 3x3 last week.

Just an example but if you had a 200" net typical, chances are good that he has at least 10" G-4's. Take those tines away and you then have a huge but not all time book 180".

A 190" net 3x3 would be tough to imagine, truly be an extraordinary trophy!

Of all the better bucks i've ever seen, a 32-33", high, heavy, dark, and wide 2X2 in area 10 Nev. was probably the biggest framed, nicest buck, and i got a longtime friend within 150yds of him on a good sneak before he missed him flat out standing still, looking at us! That huge ol buck still haunts me! :)

have to have huge fronts and no g3's.
27" beams
4" 1's
18" 2's
no 3's
13" 4's
20" mass per
doubled + iss of 26 = 190" those are the kind of numbers it would take to make the book.

The buck was on the cover of the rifle issue eastmans It said it netted 190

It was an absolute monster

The harder you work the luckier you get!!

Anyone want to take a guess what this one scores? (I'm honestly not sure, but will check when I get home) He fell off the wall once during an earthquake (Landers/Big Bear 7.0+) and broke the right main beam so it would not be eligible. But its a huge 3x3 with an over 30 inch spread.

I pulled that magazine this morning, its from 2004 and was a Mexico deer. It netted 190 7/8 I think it said, grossed 194 and some change. Really a nice buck, I think what really helped the score on this buck was both mass and the eyeguards - they must have each been 3+ inches each so that would help overall one would think. A cool deer for sure.
