Any last minute advice before I head up to Dubois this week?

EVEN THOUGH ITS NOVEMBER.....YOUR IN A GOOD GRIZZ AREA. THEY ALL HAVE NOT GONE IN FOR THE WINTER YET.....IF ANY. PRACTICE SAFE GRIZZ RULES.....IF YOU HAVE TO LEAVE AN ANIMAL OUT OVER NIGHT....APPROACH W/CAUTION. BEEN THERE DONE THAT......YD.
 
Thanks, YD. I'm not a big fan of Grizz; I've never encountered one while hunting, and hope to continue that streak.

Keep your expectations realistic and it will be a lot more fun. And they don't call it thw Wind River for nothing. Bring your facemask and lip balm...
 
I was just in Dubois and looked around Whiskey basin, didn't see any deer anywhere other than a few in the fields. they're either still up higher or don't exist I'm not sure.
 
I am curious as well. My dad's friend just returned from there and they hunted a few days and never saw a 4x4. He said they saw around 50 bucks a day and they were 2x2, 2x3 and 4x3.
