New to hunting just started recently drew my first tag this year for a upcoming hunt in unit 37. Now here is the interesting part about it I had been living in Ruidoso(unit 36 didnt draw) area for bout 3 years then moved to albuquerque for school, couldnt afford school and couldnt find a decent paying job in the spring time so i went and found work in missouri. Been living in missouri and havent had time to go back and scout at all ,this week of my hunt thanksgiving 24th-28th will be my fist time back in months. I can get around the areas in 36 driving wise pretty well but what im asking for is maybe some direction wise of movement if anyone has been out late season elk scouting or deer hunting that could maybe give me a little bit of direction. Ive talked with some hunters back home and they havent done any hunting but in 36 and havent had time to help me out. any suggestions. And i have been looking with topo maps google earth trying figure out a game plan on where i might start and back story is just so people dont flip out on me as if i am to lazy to do the work could if i would
