NEW UT deer unit map confusion.....

LAST EDITED ON Dec-03-10 AT 04:24PM (MST)[p]Guys, there is confusion on this site and others about the new 29 general deer hunting units....there are 30 "management areas" in utah, these are NOT the proposed deer units.

Here are the actual deer units that would be adopted (*as proposed, anything could happen, these could change, but these are the PROPOSED units)...notice that they do not include the current LE deer units as some believe.

In the press release today, the UDWR says this is all up in the air. Borders, even the #, if units. They got a blank slate from the WB. Some of you drank the coolaid.

I was at the meeting. Yes there is "flexibility" for the Wildlife Board to determine the units, but they will be between 24-34 so 29 is a ballpark figure.

Taste good here also.
