Depressing observations predator and human impact

There has been a ton of talk on these forums about predator vs human impact on the deer herds. All that I can say is that I am very disappointed at what I observed today on one of my outings. I have the priveldge of observing deer and elk herds that winter near my home. I spotted some decent bucks from my house and decided to go take a closer look. I was hoping to see one of the two really big bucks that I saw last year. I didn't see them but what I did find was a big gut pile from a poached bull elk. The only 6 point bull out of a group of 5 bulls was no longer in the group that I had been watching for a week. I also saw 2 coyotes along with a rib cage from a fawn killed by coyotes. All I can say is both predators and humans are impacting the herds, and all I have is the evidence.
Check out my video.

There are a few good bucks in that video. Nice backyard.

Are you sure it was a poached elk, there are lots of cow hunts going on, could it have been a legal antlerless kill?

On my outing yesterday I found 2 coyote kills and 3 hit on the highway...and its just the beginning of Dec..I saw one coyote and took a crack at him but missed..I hate that..anybody got a spare M-79 40mm grenade launcher I can borrow?

Yeah I am certain it is an illegal kill because for one thing nobody is supposed to hunt shoot in this area, it is within city limits. I am also fairly certain that it was a bull kill because the big 6 point that was in the group was no longer there and the gut pile was huge. It is hard to say whether the big bucks that I saw last year are around, they could have been poached as well. I will keep looking for them though.

Believe me if this area was outside city limits I would love to have cracked a few rounds at those coyotes. This is coming from a guy who has never killed a coyote. I have shot at coyotes during deer hunts but they are a deceptively small target and I have shot at and around and over them but never can connect.
