Here some pics of our annual family Thanksgiving picture taking trip. No monsters but some nice bucks. A couple could be studs in year of two! Not a bad morning though.

The best ones always seem to stay out whether your carrying a camera or gun.

I love not acting my age,
Damn I love my NASCAR race,
And Hell yes I love my Truck!

Nothing wrong with that trashy buck.

Those are good bucks. Are they bucks that you think are off general season open areas or not? Are they limited entry or private land deer do ya think?

The two Utah bucks are in the Northern Region. One was on private and the other was on public. I believe one is probably a public deer year round and the other I am not sure.

The rest of the bucks are in WY. More than likely from Region G. Not sure if they are coming off of public or private. Either way it is just fun to go out and watch them chasing does.

M73, I'm sure you went south for Thanksgiving day and I'm sure the tradition would be to go look for buck earlier that morning. I'm sure you saw a ton of buck. Where's the pictures and the report from the wintering grounds in Southern Utah?

cannonball,
We actually stayed home this year for Thanksgiving. The family came up on Friday and the pics are from Saturday morning. Only two Utah bucks the rest are WY. I guess you can still keep traditions alive even if they are in a different area.

Well you're lucky because there are few deer left here in Southern Utah let a lone any bucks in the winter range in the ol' stomps. My grandson, who has not ever shot a buck, saw a two-point during the last day he could hunt, but didn't quite get a chance to shoot it. It's a good thing, because that buck is the only one with the hand full of does, and this is one month later. This is in an area that is usually loaded with deer this time of year and due to the fact that there is plenty of snow in the high country they should be everywhere.
