Antelope Island Deer Hunt!

Looks like the public hunter got their tag for AI.
I suppose the sportsman tag holder can hunt it too.
We should see a couple hogs come off there this year!

Will the gov tag and sportsmans tags be able to hunt 9/1 or will they have to wait to November? I imagine it could be a bit of a cluster with 3 guys going after the same buck if that's how it goes down in November.

Will the hunters have to be escorted?

My friend drew the sportsman deer tag so we called the F and G about antelope island, they stated that the hunt was going to be ran by the state parks, and therefore off limits to the sportsman tag holder?

Maybe the gov tag holder won't be able to hunt as well, but the state park will auction off one tag?

So there will be two tags-draw and auction?

People sneak out there at night with special infra-red bone finding radar & sneak em back out before state officials open the place back up the following morning!

b bop lets ask the state offcials'maybe they know something....some really big sheds have to be some place' or somebodys place....hope they run the hunt better than the shed hunt,.,.,

The auction tag will be sold at Expo by SFW. The way I understand it the Sportsman tag and the Governors tag can't be used on AI.

How many max point holders will that pull away from the Henry's? It might increase my odds of drawing there by .1%. Sweet.

LAST EDITED ON Dec-19-10 AT 09:28PM (MST)[p]With only 1 permit I doubt that any max points holders will switch. But I bet a bunch will that are near max. I mean who wouldn't want to "road hunt" a 240" buck.
