It's ordered . Anyone have any eperience with this one? It is supposed to work well when standing still, also in deep woods and canyons. It has the Barometric altimeter.

You better hurry and fix your spelling before NAILS aka D!CK reads this post. As far as your question I think you will be happy with it. I love mine.

I have the summit wich is a step down from yours but I love it. It preforms well in thick pine stands and deep canyons. The one thing I have found is when you get ready to go into that stuff, make sure you give it time to turn on and aquire its position first. There have been a few times where I have been at the edge of some nasty stuff and just turned it on and went in and my track mapping was all over the place. If you give it time to adjust to where it is first, I have never had an issue.

+1 ... Mine has to have about 6 satelites before its super reliable in the thick stuff!

That's how it was spelled on the Sears website. My wife works there so I get the discount. I am very spoiled when it comes to tools. And I don't mind it either! LOL..
Thanks for the replies. I am going on a huge Mule Deer mission this fall so everything is starting now. Exercise and diet also.
It's going to be a real spike camp up in the high timber.

I've had the same one for years and works great! I recently bought a 530HCx but still keep the etrex as a backup.
