You may not have "Shot" the buck with a weapon, but you did get a "shot" with your camera. Either way you have a trophy to look at and something to remember. The good thing about the camera shot, is that buck is still out there for you hunt.

That last buck looks alot like a buck that I passed up on the Crawford Mtn. hunt in 2004. Had him at 75 yrds. and let him walk on the fourth day of the season. He had alot of snow sitting in his horns that made him look thinner than he really was. Helped a non-res Ca. lady in her 60's take him on the 9th day of the season. 33 wide scored 191 gross. That still haunts me.

That right there is the essence of hunting trophy muleys. If you can't hold your trigger finger on good bucks, you'll never kill a giant. While most would give their left nut to kill any one of those bucks, you've got it dialed in and know exactly what you want. Good for you for sticking to it.
