Check out this young buck.

Ran across him right off the side of the road.

Got out to see if I could get him to go over the fence and get off the road and he wouldn't move.

Took some pics and then he decided to get up.

Thought he might be wounded or that he had been hit but he moved around just fine once he got up and there was no evidence of him being hit in the near area.

Look at his eyes. They look all cloudy.

What do you guys think? Something ain't right with him and he just looks a little goofy to me.

Is he sick, blind, both?

May be both... If he cant see then how will he find food in the snow? Poor fella! Did you report it?

I run across a 5 month old muley buck one fall that was blind. He would look in the area I was at but couldn't see but could hear me. When he got up he ran in to the fence and finally figured out out he had to turn around. About a week later he was dead on the hwy. It was a sad thing but that is the way it is.

Very well may be blind. We ran into a blind deer (fawn) a few years ago. We spotted a group of deer and made a plan for my dad to circle around a make a "push". I watched as he snuck closer, and closer, and to this fawn. Finaly he got close enough that he reached out and touched it! The dang thing jumped in the air about 10 feet and then just stood there looking confused. I thought my dad was a true master stalker, until we figured out that the deer was blinder than a bat! His mommy soon came back for him, but I sure felt bad for the little guy.

Yeah, you hate to see animals suffering, but things happen and nature can be cruel. Here's a few pics I took last year of deer with sight/eye problems that otherwise appeared healthy:
This big 3-pt. had his left eye blinded from fighting or other injury (not apparent in this pic).

This young buck with a decent rack appeared to have left eye damage, too:

And this guy had vision impaired by a slab antler:

And here's an animal that was lost & alone...and just plain lonesome!:

I bet that bottom buck couldn't wait to shed his antlers.

That's funny NVPete!

I did report it but they didn't seem too concerned.

I am sure nature will take it's course and that's just the way it is. Just thought it was a unique experience!

Thanks for sharing yours as well.
